Lewis Stallworth

North American Executive — Business Development

Lewis Stallworth is a smart city strategist and business development executive who has spent his career bridging technology and municipal infrastructure. From early work with Bosch Security Systems to leading North American expansion for Bosch Video Systems — now rebranded IQSIGHT — Lewis has helped pioneer AI-powered video analytics, intelligent transportation systems, V2X communications, and 5G IoT deployments across America's most forward-thinking cities. He was instrumental in transforming Peachtree Corners, Georgia into the nation's first real-world smart city, and continues to partner with cities, agencies, and technology innovators to advance Vision Zero and safer, more sustainable urban ecosystems.

Career

Two Decades of Smart City Leadership

EARLY CAREER
Bosch Security Systems — Field & Sales Engineer
Began his career deploying Bosch security and video systems across enterprise and government accounts. Became an active member of ITS Georgia (ITSGA), building foundational relationships across state DOT, city planners, and transportation engineers that would shape his path in smart city infrastructure.
MID-CAREER
Business Development Manager — Smart Cities
Transitioned into a dedicated smart city business development role, identifying convergence opportunities across video surveillance, ITS, cybersecurity, and municipal data infrastructure. Developed go-to-market strategies for AI video analytics and intelligent edge platforms targeting city governments and transit authorities.
2020
Peachtree Corners / Curiosity Lab Deployment
Led the deployment of Bosch AI video analytics within Curiosity Lab at Peachtree Corners — America's first real-world smart city test bed. Integrated video-as-a-sensor across 5G-connected infrastructure spanning ITS signal optimization, smart parking, crowd flow analysis, and vulnerable road user (VRU) safety detection. The deployment tracked over 14,000 vehicles daily at 95%+ classification accuracy.
2022
T-Mobile / Cradlepoint / Bosch — 5G IoT Collaboration
Brokered and led a tri-party technology collaboration combining T-Mobile's 5G network, Cradlepoint's edge routing hardware, and Bosch AI cameras to create a ruggedized, cellular-first IoT stack for smart city deployments. The collaboration produced a reference architecture for connected infrastructure in environments where fiber is unavailable or cost-prohibitive.
2024
TAPCO Wrong-Way Detection Partnership
Partnered with TAPCO to integrate Bosch edge-AI cameras with TAPCO's highway alert systems, enabling real-time wrong-way driver detection on ramps and interchanges. The solution uses onboard inference to identify reverse travel and trigger immediate TAPCO alerts — reducing human review lag and improving incident response times.
2024
Commsignia V2X / Vision Zero Partnership
Established a partnership with Commsignia to combine Bosch AI video detection with Commsignia's V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) roadside units. The joint solution creates a digital twin of intersection activity and broadcasts VRU presence to connected vehicles — a key step toward Vision Zero goals and eliminating traffic fatalities through cooperative awareness.
2026
Bosch Video Systems → IQSIGHT Rebrand
Supported Bosch Video Systems' evolution into IQSIGHT — a purpose-built smart city intelligence brand. The rebrand consolidates AI video analytics, edge computing, cybersecurity, and real-time dashboards under a unified product identity, signaling Bosch's deepened commitment to municipal and transportation market segments globally.
CURRENT
North American Executive — Business Development, IQSIGHT
Currently leads North American business development for IQSIGHT, driving go-to-market strategy across smart city, transportation, and enterprise verticals. Partners with cities, state DOTs, system integrators, and technology innovators to deploy next-generation AI video intelligence and connected infrastructure at scale.
